The World of Skin Care

You can hardly pick up a magazine or newspaper these days without being inundated with the newest in skin care ingredients.  It all becomes very confusing and it is hard to discern what is true.  There are no miracles when it comes to pushing back the clock.  The skin we have today has a lot to do sun exposure when we were young, genes, lifestyle, hormones, our skin care routine and our diets.

While you can’t correct all skin issues through good skin care, you can do some things to look younger almost instantly.  The worst thing for your skin is dehydration.  Dry skin looks old and causes wrinkles.  You want to make sure you use the proper moisturizer for your skin.  Your daytime moisturizer should have an SPF in it.  We recommend SPF 30 for your face and offer ours in a cream for very dry skin and a lotion for moderately dry skin or people with Rosecea.  (Protecting  your skin from further sun damage is a must)!   For night time, you want something heavier and loaded with vitamins and other ingredients that will help repair the skin while you sleep.  Most of us should cleanse and moisturize twice a day.

The second thing you can do to make your skin look younger is to brighten it.  Our product of choice for this is our Eminence Stone Crop Hydrating Mist and Stone Crop Serum.  We have seen amazing results with this combination and it is all natural and organic.   Bright, moist skin gives us a more youthful appearance in a very short time.
